Prototype Functionality

RTA was released as prototype functionality. As such, the content in these pages is subject to change based on feedback and roadmap changes.

Prerequisites#

Before completing these tutorials, you'll need a few things.

ATLAS#

ATLAS 2021-R3 or later

You'll need an ATLAS Licence with the RTA Data Service Connections feature.
Contact your sales rep or Motion Applied Field Application Engineer if you don't have this.

PostgreSQL#

PostgreSQL 9.6 or later

Note

These demos use minimal PostgreSQL resources.

You can install PostgreSQL directly into your development environment, or run from a Docker container.

Development Environment#

Visual Studio CodeVisual StudioJetBrains Rider

.NET 5.x SDK
Visual Studio Code with the latest C# extension

Visual Studio 2019 version 16.9.2 or later with the .NET Core cross-platform development workload installed.
The .NET 5.0 SDK is automatically installed when you select this workload.
